Olympic Gold Medalist Kerri Walsh wears Kinesio Tape on her surgically repaired right shoulder during a match in the 2008 Beijing Games. Kinesio tape is used by athletes throughout the world to enhance the performance of muscles, increase blood flow, and reduce tissue swelling. Dr.'s Cohen and Haydu have been certified in Kinesio Taping since 2002 and have used it with great success on local amateur and professional athletes.
Triathlon Time! Come visit us at the Wilkes-Barre Triathlon on the weekend of August 2nd and 3rd. We will be on-site offering treatment to the athletes during registration on Saturday and also after the race on Sunday morning. Dr. Haydu is part of a multidisciplinary panel of specialists answering questions about back pain. December 1-2, 2007: Dr. Haydu completed a 12 hour rehabilitation course in Philadelphia with Dr. Gary Jacob, one of the nation's premiere rehabilitation specialists. The weekend seminar focused on rehab strategies and treatments for the cervical spine and upper extremities utilizing the world renowned techniques of therapists Robin McKenzie and Brian Mulligan. November 3-4, 2007: Dr. Haydu completed a 12 hour rehabilitation course in Philadelphia with Dr. Gary Jacob, one of the nation's premiere rehabilitation specialists.
